Judy Taylor, President
Judy Taylor is from Ft. Worth, Texas and considers herself the classic "Air Force brat." Her formal education is in nursing, culminating as a Director of Nursing. However, her avocation was not nursing, but commercial real estate, a career she pursued for over 20 years. When it was time to move on, Judy followed her love of cooking to France, where she earned her credentials as a classically-trained chef. Judy initially started sewing clothes for her two small children and took her first quilting class in 1982. She made quilts off and on for several years until she discovered her passion was not in piecing but in longarm quilting. She opened her longarm quilting studio in 2002 and has won numerous awards, not only for her own quilts, but for her customers as well. Judy has held many leadership positions in quilt-related organizations locally and nationally. Judy and her husband Glen, an avid art quilter, share their Scottsdale, Arizona home with their two Scotty Terriers, Scottie and Abbie.
