Description:   Opening Tuesday, March 2, 2010, A Stitch in Time: Quilts from the Collection of The Historical Society of the Town of Greenwich will include over twenty-five quilts that were made between the early 1800s and early 1900s. The exhibition offers a rare look at this unique group of bold, colorful works that are rich in the history of the people and the Town of Greenwich, and illustrate the historical and technical aspects of traditional patterns and quilting.

The Historical Society gallery and Visitor Center Museum Shop are open year-round, Tuesday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 seniors and students. Children under 6 and Historical Society members are free. Guided tours of the exhibition are available Thursday through Sunday at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. For information on Group Reservations on non-public days, please call 203-869-6899, ext. 18.
