Moving beyond the boundary of quilting and into the realm of contemporary fiber artwork, Quilt Visions 2010: No Boundaries will
surprise visitors with thirty nine exceptional art quilts. Ranging in style from abstract to representational the quilts on view
challenge one's notion of what a quilt can be. Oceanside Museum of Art is thrilled to present its fifth exhibition in
conjunction Quilt San Diego/Quilt Visions. This year a distinguished panel of jurors reviewed 601 entries submitted by 270
artists from 20 states and five foreign countries. The exhibition opens with a preview reception October 23 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
Admission to the reception is $10. Members of OMA and Quilt Visions enjoy complimentary admission as a benefit of membership.
Regular admission to the exhibition is $8, $5 for seniors 65+, Free for students and military. Musuem hours are Tuesday-Saturday
10:00 am to 1:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
