"Caribbean Beach"

This quilt is hand appliquéd, fused, beaded, and machine quilted. Her inspirition comes from recollections of a beach on St. Thomas.

Susan Friedman is a fiber and bead artist, gardener, and lindy hop dancer. She gets her inspiration from the flowers and forest around her home near the Ashokan Reservoir and from her travels.
